Abstract instructions

Local Scientific Organizing Committee will consider all abstracts submitted to the Conference through the Web-site from 5th October 2012 to 28th February 2013 and notification of acceptance will be made to authors by 31st March 2013. Abstracts must be relevant to one of the Conference subthemes and authors are requested to mark one of them under which their abstract should be evaluated by the referees. The final session titles and paper allocation will be made by the Local Scientific Organizing Committee at the time of the final programme composition.

Please note that the abstracts will be reviewed by the Local Scientific Organizing Committee and that you need to use our abstract template and information for authors – available here. Late submissions will be rejected – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Presentations

Authors should indicate their preference for presenting their paper either as an oral or a poster presentation; certain material lends itself better for a poster than for projection during the presentation. Papers accepted as oral presentations and poster presentations will have equal standing.

Oral

An oral paper will be allocated 15 minutes for the speaker’s presentation + 5 minutes for discussions. Time slots in the meeting program will be strictly observed. The only presentation file type that will be accepted is PowerPoint presentation and .pdf format.

Poster

A poster paper consists of a graphical presentation displayed vertically (140 cm high x 95 cm wide). The presentation will be allocated 1h 30 minutes, including the time for discussion. Time slots in the meeting program will be strictly observed.
