The team is multidisciplinary, developing its activity on several spatio-temporal scenarios in littoral and deep-sea areas. This activity is conducted in a close relation with departments and universities from local and foreign institutions. The objective of the team is to gather the scientific and technical knowledge for the assessment of the administrations and sectors involved in the conservation of the resources, and the sustainable exploitation of the resources, the biodiversity and the contamination are the main research topics of the team. The Team also conduct research on New Technologies in the framework of the Associated Unit with the SARTI Center, a technological department of the UPC University of Vilanova i la Geltru.
