My research focuses on the study of climate change impacts in the Mediterranean. More particularly, I am studying the effects of mass mortality events on the rocky benthic coastal habitats and their potential pathways to mitigate and adapt to current environmental changes.

I am also focused on the role of marine protected areas network as the main pillar to develop adaptation action plans. The ultimate objective of my research is to contribute to the conservation of Mediterranean biodiversity and the services that it supports for our society.
