E. Olmedo received the degrees in Mathematics (2001) and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics (2007) from the University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain. She has authored 21 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and more than 80 contributions to international workshops and congress. She has seven years experience in SMOS data processing. Her research topics include signal and image processing, retrieval algorithms and fusion methods applied to remote sensing of the oceans.
