Laura’s research focuses on understanding sea turtle population dynamics and threats. Specifically, she is leading the first regional population and threat assessment for olive ridley turtles in the East Pacific Ocean while also using satellite telemetry devices to assess the impact of climate change on the movement patterns of hatchling loggerhead turtles in the Mediterranean. Laura is a task leader for the EU Horizon project TERRATWIN.
