The exhibition features information, objects and photographs from scientific expeditions. In several thematic sections the exhibit will explain the journey of the entire expedition from its origin to the return. Visitors can see everything that is needed to perform this type of trip: documents requiring, scientific equipment, instruments, personal items, etc. It will also see a model of the Oceanographic Research Vessel Hesperides, managed by the Spanish Armada, based in Cartagena, and an underwater robot given by the Deutsches Museum in Bremerhaven Schiffahrts that scientists use to investigate the seabed.
The exhibition will be open from 20 February to 8 June in the Big Ships area of the Maritime Museum in Barcelona.
