My research is focused in the use of Carboxylesterases as biomarkers of pollution. I am studying these enzymes in species of different habitat and trophic level with the aim to explore new bioindicator species of marine pollution. I am currently working in the management of the fisheries of the Catalan coast. Also, I am an active member of Catsharks, an association for the study and conservation of elasmobranchs and their ecosystems through research and education.
