I have a degree in Marine Sciences from the University of Vigo and a Master's Degree in Ecology from the University of Barcelona. My interests are in the field of marine ecology, particularly in the dynamics of phytoplankton and its interactions. I am interested in the toxic and harmful phytoplankton species, the factors that regulate their abundance and the effects of their proliferation in the ecosystem.
I am part of the group of Coastal Biological Processes at the ICM, where I have done my master's degree project and, where currently, I am working as a Technician. My tasks focus on the maintenance and quantification with microscopy of phytoplankton culture and their parasites.
