My research is placed in a broad landscape that extends from Ecological Physiology and Immunology to Foraging and Movement Ecology including individual and species Life-history Traits. I am also interested in the consequences Human Impact imposes on the previous features in the long-term (i.e., pollutants) in pristine and fragile ecosystems as polar regions and beyond. To do so, I have used a mix of correlative and experimental approaches in the wild and in captivity in the Northern and Southern hemispheres, mainly studying seabird and non-seabird species.
