I explore how the Earth's vertical motions evolve through time. Taking a holistic stand, I combine basin analyses, seismo-stratigraphy, structural geology, fieldwork and geomorphology approaches at tectonic scales. My research agenda is wide, and has thus far covered post-rift motions in Morocco, big transform faults in Sumatra, orogenic plateau growth in Turkey and plate boundaries interaction in Greece. At the BCSI, I aim at a better understanding of the geodynamic evolution of the C-E Mediterranean Basin combining EMODnet and multi-beam bathymetry with >10k km of multichannel seismic reflection profiles.
