Castro has visited the Institute within the framework of a workshop on blue economy in which the main companies of the sector in Catalonia have participated.

Arnal took advantage of the visit to learn about the main research lines and projects in which the Institute participates.

The agreement will allow us to join forces in the follow-up of several pilot studies to assess ocean regeneration and restoration.

The event, in whose organization participates the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC), will take place at the Barcelona International Convention Centre from April 8 to 12.

The project seeks to bring the ocean into the classrooms and raise awareness among the youngest of the need to protect this ecosystem.

The event, in which the ICM-CSIC will participate, aims to find science-based solutions to achieve a more sustainable ocean.
