Sallarès holds a PhD in physics and, since 2012, has been conducting his research at the ICM in the field of marine geosciences.

It is part of a program funded by the Severo Ochoa grant that contemplates the stay, for of up to two months, of globally recognized profiles.

This multi-institutional proposal aims to promote the importance of marine ecosystems and their relationship with society to promote sustainable behavior with the ocean.

The activity aimed to bring the ocean closer to students to raise awareness of the close relationship between people and marine ecosystems.
