MOSAiC involved 600 researchers from 19 countries, working on a rotating basis for about 14 months on the icebreaker Polarstern.

The film, jointly produced by the Institut de Ciències del Mar (ICM-CSIC) and the science outreach platform La Ciència al teu Món, will premiere on September 24^th in La Ràpita.

The meeting served as the first contact between the new president, Eloísa del Pino, and the directors of the CSIC centres in Catalonia.

The agreement foresees that the General State Administration will cede, in the first phase, the premises located in front of the research center and, in the second phase, the two adjoining premises, which will become spaces for scientific dissemination.

Sallarès holds a PhD in physics and, since 2012, has been conducting his research at the ICM in the field of marine geosciences.

It is part of a program funded by the Severo Ochoa grant that contemplates the stay, for of up to two months, of globally recognized profiles.
