The good results in this highly competitive call consolidate the excellence of the ICM and its potential to attract research talent.

The Institut de Ciències del Mar (ICM) coordinates the TELEDETECT Platform, which brings together all the CSIC groups working on remote sensing issues.

The investment will strengthen the scientific-technical capacities of some of the centre’s key services, such as the computing cluster or the microscopy and oceanographic instrumentation services.

This year, the Distinction, worth 5,000 euros, has been awarded to the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT), while the other runner-up has been awarded to the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA).

During the meeting, held from 26 to 28 of January, the partners discussed about the strategies to address the existing gender bias in scientific organizations.

The book is addressed to the international citizen science community, including scholars, practitioners and especially universities.
